金秋9月，我们这次的Web Analytics Wednesday (WAW)聚会将会在时间上比较特别： 很多朋友反映说希望聚会放在周末，这次我们将于9月的最后一个礼拜六，也就是9月26日下午聚会；这次我们的嘉宾是来自iNetAsia 的Chris Liu 刘江亮。Chris 从2007年起就开始专注Online Marketing/Web Analytics, 他目前是iNetAsia专门负责 online marketing WebTrends 的项目经理。 本次活动他将用简单的case给我们介绍WebTrends 这个工具的应用。
Webtrends 是目前在北美主要的一个Web Analytics vendor, 他们自我定义为 “enterprise customer intelligence company”. 在今年最新的一期（2009年7月）由Forrester Research Inc 发布的 “The Forrester Wave™: Web Analytics, Q3 2009” 报告中，Forrester 从105个criteria评估了8个工具，其中 Omniture，WebTrends， Coremetrics和Unica是 “leader”, 对WebTrends的具体评价是

今年4月份，我在一次例行监测关键词的Google排名时，发现手头的数据和美国同事的发生了大跌眼镜的排名出入。前提是我们使用相同的Google.com，而且在此之前一直好好的相安无事。但是4月份，一些个关键词相差30+个排位。也就是说当时一部分关键词在US Google.com的排名有一定下滑，但是用中国IP监测不到。当时在不能确切解释的情况下，我将其归咎于读取的是不同的Google服务器可能造成了数据滞后，
